Darcey Flowers Supports Gift Giving Event For Elderly Care Center In Dubai

Back in July 2021, Darcey Flowers had the privilege of taking part in a heartwarming community initiative that left lasting smiles on the faces of many seniors in Dubai. The gift-giving event, held on July 25, 2021, took place at the Senior’s Happiness Center in Al Mamzar, and was part of the GIVING UAE Campaign, first established during Ramadan 2018 in the Year of Zayed.

This campaign, under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima Bint Hashir Al Maktoum and in collaboration with government entities and private sectors—including DHA, CDA, the Ministry of Health, and Dubai Police—continues to inspire compassion and generosity across the UAE.

A Day of Joy and Connection

Darcey Flowers contributed by sharing what we know best: the beauty of fresh blooms. Each resident received a cheerful bag filled with vibrant flowers, carefully chosen to bring color and positivity to their day.

The event welcomed about 20 residents—15 men and 5 women—all aged 55 and above. Many of them live without close family support, but the Senior’s Happiness Center provides them with essential medical and nursing care, as well as a warm place to call home.

On that day, the atmosphere was filled with happiness. Laughter echoed through the rooms, and it was moving to witness how a simple act of kindness—sharing flowers—could brighten spirits and bring comfort. The seniors’ smiles were a reminder that meaningful gestures, no matter how small, can have a big impact on emotional well-being.

Giving Back to the Community

For Darcey Flowers, being part of such initiatives is not just an honor—it is a responsibility. Community involvement and acts of kindness are at the heart of our values, and we remain committed to supporting platforms that spread joy and make a difference.

Though the 2021 event was organized with strict Covid-19 measures in place and limited guests for safety, its spirit of compassion and care lives on even today. Looking back, we’re grateful to have played a part in an occasion that truly embodied the meaning of giving.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is my second time ordering flowers here, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! The flowers are absolutely beautiful and the service is truly outstanding. I accidentally provided my friend’s old address, and they went above and beyond to make sure the flowers still reached her at her new address. Such kindness and exceptional service is so rare. I’m incredibly grateful and will definitely order again. Highly recommended! ♥️
