Darcey Flowers Attends IFTEX 2022

As part of our ongoing effort to bring the best products to the market and to our valued customers, our team has flown from Dubai to Kenya to grace one of the most extensive flower exhibitions and fairs after 3 years of absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic with the theme, “Supporting Sustainable Floriculture in Kenya” which we believe is a very relevant topic nowadays. The said trade fair was held from May 30 to June 1, 2022, at Oshwal Center in Nairobi Kenya.

With over hundreds of local and international companies joining the trade fair, IFTEX is a great venue to meet the most significant flower growers and vendors from around the world. The said exhibition and fair were participated by different flower companies, international growers, flower buyers, and visitors all over the globe.

IFTEX is one of the major exhibitions in the floriculture industry and plays a major role in connecting flower growers and companies as well as buyers. This is a platform for the growers to present new products, educate and provide new information to the buyers, and of course discussion on how to boost business, not only that, but this fair also tackles issues and challenges relating to the flower industry, especially since the said industry is just starting to bounce back from the impact of the pandemic.

We are privileged to have been invited and to witness right in our very eyes the quality of all the variety of garden roses, scented roses, and spray roses that we are bringing to our customers in the UAE. This is also the best time to check out new varieties of roses that we can offer to our growing clientele in the United Arab Emirates.

It is an honor for Darcey Flowers to have been selected to become the “Florist Ambassador in Dubai” by the flower grower association in Kenya. Moreover, we are thrilled to finally meet our flower suppliers in Kenya and got the chance to talk about how to strengthen our relationships through business collaboration.

Overall, it was a short yet fulfilling 5 day-trip to Kenya for the IFTEX 2022
